Quality Assurance Commitment

At A & J Apparel, our commitment to excellence is ingrained in our stringent quality standards. We hold ourselves to rigorous norms, ensuring that our clients receive nothing but the highest quality products. “Exquisite quality,” “fine finish,” and “reliable packaging” are not just phrases; they are the hallmarks of every delivery to our esteemed customers.

To uphold these standards, we implement a comprehensive set of in-house quality control procedures:

  • 100% Inspection of Greige Goods: Rigorous examination of raw materials to maintain quality from the outset.
  • Visual Quality Inspection and Shrinkage Control: 100% fabric inspection before the cutting process to ensure visual quality and control shrinkage.
  • Quality Audit During Cutting: Quality inspectors meticulously audit the cutting phase to maintain precision.
  • In-Line Inspection During Stitching: Highly trained quality inspectors conduct in-line inspections to guarantee quality throughout the stitching process.
  • Full Inspection After Stitching: Every garment undergoes a full inspection post-stitching to maintain consistency.
  • Extensive Final Quality Inspection: 100% of garments undergo a thorough final quality inspection before the packing phase.
  • Final Audit by Quality Auditors: A final audit is conducted by our skilled quality auditors, adhering to the AQL (Acceptance Quality Limit) of 2.5%.

Greige Fabric Inspection

Quality Control Begins Before Processing

Before fabric moves into dyeing or production, greige fabric is carefully checked for defects, construction consistency and overall condition.

Our team reviews the fabric to identify issues that may affect dyeing, cutting or garment performance later in production.

Our greige fabric checks include:

  • Fabric width and construction review
  • Surface defect inspection
  • Knitting or weaving irregularities
  • Holes, stains, lines and contamination
  • Fabric roll identification and quantity verification
  • Segregation of fabric requiring further review

Dyed Fabric Inspection

Verifying Shade, Finish and Fabric Consistency

After dyeing, fabric is inspected again before it is released for cutting.

Our dyed fabric department checks colour consistency, surface appearance and finishing quality to ensure that the fabric matches the approved requirements for the order.

Special attention is given to shade variation between rolls, visible defects and any issues that may affect the final appearance of the garment.

Our dyed fabric checks include:

  • Shade matching against approved standards
  • Roll-to-roll colour consistency
  • Surface and finishing inspection
  • Stains, marks and dyeing irregularities
  • Fabric width and usable quantity checks
  • Segregation and identification of approved rolls
